SCRIPTURE

Psalm 139; John 1: 48-50; Jeremiah 1: 5

I suggest you read these scriptures cited.

I was an elementary reading teacher.  When coming across a long word, I would call it a "million dollar word," MDW, and then proceeded to pronounce it and tell its meaning.

There's three MDWs in this devotion to describe God: omniscience, omnipresent, sovereign.

The first two start with omni-  which means ALL.  Keep that in mind.

Omniscience means infinite knowledge and foreknowledge.  Jeremiah, "I knew you before I knew you in your mother's womb!  Also in John before Jesus met Nathaniel, one of the twelve disciples, in person (when Philip brought him to Jesus), Jesus said, "I saw you under the fig tree."  In this event, those words were all Nathaniel needed to convince him that Jesus was the long awaited Messiah.

Omnipresent means that God is everywhere, there' s no place to hide from Him.  Psalm 139, "If you go up to the heavens you are there.  If you go down in the depths, you are there."  You means God.

Soverign means that God has supreme ultimate power over His creation.

Read Psalm 139 as it was meant to be--a prayer written and sung by David; as he poured out his heart to describe God's magnificent awesomeness.

LESSON

God is everything, everywhere, and  ultimate wonderfulness!  ALL encompassing.  ALL!💕
